Kalienke (KWPN / Brown / 1,71 ) 

Kalienke represented the dutch breeding in our stable. Unfortunately she suddenly died in 2004. She was
bought as a riding horse always impressing with her jumping talent. Later on she passed on this talent, good movements and a beautiful temperament to her foals.

Kalienkes father Ekstein is one of four approved sons of Zion, although he had only two breeding seasons
and hence only a small number of progenies he achieved a quite impressive breeding index. Zions father is
the famous Lucky Boy xx.

Eksteins mother Zaniki (Ster Prest) decends out of the known Niki line, well known for the successful
jumping horse Apollo ( Nick Skelton ). Ekstein achieved an impressive result in his performance test (9,0
Jumping) and was as a 7 year old winner in the highest class (C) of the national stallion contest of the 
Netherlands. Ekstein has produced a high number of approved sons e.g. Impuls (KWPN), Edking (NRPS),
Igor (AES), Kobalt (DK) and Jacco (SBS).

Kalienke's grand father Römer was successful in sport and breeding, at the beginning in the netherlands
later on in the USA. Especially impressive is, that he was successful on international Grand prix level
in show jumping and dressage. Römer produced in the Netherlands and in the USA a great number of
successful sport horses as for example Mistral (Olympics 1992 Jumping) or Winston (1.Grand Prix / Grand Champion Stallion). They all contributed to Römers first place in the dutch breeding index in 1990. Römers father is Pilatus, also father of the most successful and famous westfalian jumping line founders Pilot und
Polydor.

The pedigree is completed by a thouroghbred of high quality Vesins xx.

Out of Kalienkes mother line (KWPN Fam 335) descended the stallions Natron (out of Afilama Ster Pref
from Jaegermeister), Epigoon (out of Lafilama), Ontario (out of Sofilama) as well as Jacorde (from Concorde )
and It's Morado (v.Indorado), but also a number of mares, successful in sport and breeding, like Rivana (Keur Sport Dressage), Ilienke (Fookwarde Dr 122) and Theofano ( Keur Pref Prestatie) out of Efilama (Ster Pref) and her daughter Future (Keur Sport).
